Hmm, I was so excited when I received a pack of cute Quinceanera invitations from a good friend few days ago. She’s sent us some invitations to her wedding in Perth at the end of the year and I am so happy that I’ve got an excuse to travel again! Perth, Western Australia has a special place in my heart and I love the serenity and slow pace of life in this lovely city. I can sit by the Swan River at South Perth for the entire afternoon and read a book with my favourite mocha or latte. Looking back, I can still remember the wintry cold nights in Perth 10 years ago at this time of the year. I miss the flea markets at Fremantle and the beautiful sunset at Cottesloe. It’s not a busy place like Sydney but neither is it lifeless as described by some ignorant city folks. So if you have the chance to visit Perth, Western Australia, don’t forget to make a day trip to the Swan Valley for a nice relaxing break. And if you are there, Margaret Chocolate Factory is a must for anyone who cares for a nice hot chocolate or a bite of the decadent.
