Both my hubby and myself are gastronomic travelers at heart. When we were in Japan, we ate some of the restaurants where only locals patronized. For us, that was a great way to mingle with the locals and experience the real cultural experience. Japan food is great. You can find healthy grilling foods to deep fried meat cutlets, depending on your tastes. Otherwise, savor the freshest fingoods with raw sashimi or sushi or culinary foods like a kaiseki. We had that while in the ryokans in Hakone and Ito and we had a wonderful time!

We are now in hong kong enjoying the most local delicacies from the narrow street stalls to fine hong kong restaurants. I can ask for more, can I?
