I don’t think anyone of us like to switch on the tv every morning to be greeted with bad news. While I was chatting a friend few days ago during my stay in Hong Kong, I was prompted with a question: do you want to see current life insurance rates? Normally my answer would be a yes but since I’m on vacation, I decided to take a rain check on that question.

Somehow, I’m not in the mood to think about insurance and stuff. Maybe I’m too overwhelmed with the cool shopping in Hong Kong. The streets are still busy at 10pm and for me, this is just so exciting! It is not too common to rub shoulders with locals at that hour with shoppers carrying bags of shopping purchases. I can’t help to think that they have made a mistake about Hong Kong being in recession cos people are still buying!

I have another few more days to shop the streets of HOng Kong before saying good bye to this bustling city… it is truly a city that doesn’t sleep!
