If you are planning to travel to Hong Kong or Tokyo, make sure you get yourself a pair of good walking shoes. When we were in Tokyo and Kyoto, we walked so much that DH was starting to develop Plantar Fasciitis. It was a good thing that I wore my Birkis but even with that, I was having sore calves and heels at the end of the day. I supposed the busy and huge subways in tokyo can be tiring for families with toddlers. Plus, we had to carry the stroller down the stairs for subways without any lifts or escalators.

Though tokyo is busy, it’s still interesting to enjoy the people, sights and culture, not forgetting the food! I told DH that I would like to return to tokyo soon… very soon. With the slacking economy this year, it looks like my tokyo plans would be delayed.
