When I was in Japan last year, I was amazed by the shopping culture in the country. Sure enough, it’s not easy to find discount accomodation in a city like Tokyo or Kyoto cos everything seems so expensive in Japan, especially if our currency is so weak!

The Japanese cares alot about what they put on their face. The skin care industry is a big one. Walk into any departmental store and you can see lots of cosmetic brands from whitening your skin to acne treatments. I even found many stores that sell only organic and natural skin care products. It isn’t easy to resist myself from these stores!

I have to say that the Japanese is very good in preserving their youthful skin and optimum health. They are kind and polite people and it’s not difficult to find help in Japan even if you can’t speak Japanese. I am still hoping that we can make a trip to Hokkaido next year and it’ll save alot if I can find discount accomodation for the trip.

For now, I can only savor the memories left off from our last Tokyo and Kyoto trip and look forward to more travel opportunities.
