Direct travel to Singapore
As summer is here, beach goers and shoppers are geared up for a good break. This is the time to get a tan, take a short break with the family or spend a weekend in a beach resort with your close friends. Direct travel seems popular still, despite the H1N1 virus spreading from continent to continent. And if you are traveling to affected countries this summer, you should take precaution as far as hygiene is concerned.
As for me, I’m spending a few days in Singapore and have been looking around for some good buys during the Great Singapore sale. I haven’t seen anything that great yet or perhaps, I was too zapped by the heat that I tried not to get under the sun in Orchard road. What’s great about Singapore is that most malls are linked to the train station so you don’t quite need to worry about the sun or heat. Then again, to zoom from one end of town to another can be tiring. But I’m still thankful that the public transport in Singapore is just amazing. It’s just so easy to move around in Singapore even when you don’t drive.
I would need to shop for a new handphone and a XBox tomorrow before returning home. A direct travel to Singapore can be attained via most international airlines. And if you are coming from Malaysia, you can catch a train or coach too. Now it is time for an early sleep so that I can be refreshed for another long day tomorrow!
