The rise in H1N1 cases is not doing the airlines and travel industry a favor at all. I did a quick research in a few travel desinations, checking if any discount accomodation is on this summer and it seems that there is plenty!

Perhaps this is a good time for those travelers who want to save. Yet, I know of many friends who canceled their vacation because of the risk and threat of the virus. Many airlines are also offering discounts on airfares but people aren’t taking the risk and many don’t want to waste time on home quarantine. According to some friends, even luxury hotels with the nicest glass tile bathrooms are offering discounts.

So if H1N1 is not scaring you at all, take your time to scout around for good travel deals this summer. Before you do that, stay healthy at all costs.
