Summer has ended and many have returned to work from their travel vacations. I believe many have travel stories to share and tell, with photos that speak a thousand words too.

When I was in Hanoi, I found the Old Quarter a very interesting place. With streets that sell different things, every street seems to specialize in something. We sat in a trishaw and it was a great and slow way to view the city. I was particularly fascinated by a street that sells only greeting cards. They have almost everything you need for an invitation, from address labels to gold embossed cards of any size and color. It was amazing!

There are of course streets for shoes, street for silk, for embroidery, for toys, food and lots more. Getting close to the locals is often the best way to know the culture, the lifestyle and the country.
